In real life lately, I have had a lot of good questions from non-Christians (Muslim, Jew, Hindu, etc) about being Christian and our beliefs. If anyone has questions, feel free to ask them here. I am open to respectful discussions on this matter here or in PM. I am a Christian, but I have soul searched on this topic a lot over the years..

See this is something I don't get and I promise I'm not making fun of you. Why can't God just make the car wreck not happen? Why can't he just make the driver pay attention/not make a mistake on the road, etc. Why does he have to do it in that way, making you oversleep?

Do you guys want to know something funny? P.iss is censored but the most famous joke from the 1989 smash cult kids movie "Little Monsters" is "Who put p.iss in the apple juice?"
If I was god and running and micro-managing every human beings life around I'd be sure as hell doing a better job at it than this cluterf*ck of an existence

Do you see your faith as sort of your identity or just one small piece of it? How do you feel about people seeing you as being just a Christian as opposed to, for example being mt01, who likes epicmafia sports pizza and also happens to be a Christian?
I struggled a lot with faith over the years, and my thoughts on this have changed a lot through this. My end realization was that God has controlled every single thing that has happened in my life both good and bad and he has done this for his purpose, whatever that may be. Its amazing when you see what he did and finally realize why something happened.
To answer your question, being Christian is my identity. God has done so much for me and shaped me into what I am, or my whole identity. Yeah I have other interests and passions too. Who knows why I do things like play EM, but God probably has a reason for this too.
So this is the kind of person that believes god intervenes and shapes your everyday life huh
He does this to all. He makes me sleep past my alarm one day so I miss getting in a car wreck. He controls my life and yours even if you do not believe in him. When I did not believe in him, he was still controlling everything..

Do you live in an area where being religious or Christian is the norm? Or do you live in an area with more religious diversity? Do you think living in a certain type of area has affected your struggle w your faith? Do you think you would think any differently about your faith if you were exposed to more or less religious/cultural(?) diversity than you are now?
If God controls everything why do kids get bone cancer? What purpose does that have? Your God seems like a bit of a ...
we get bone cancer to go live with him? I actually had some health issues like 1.5 years ago, and this might have saved my life having what happened. I believe that God really worked in my life there because of this.
Bad things happen to all of us. It may take years to find out why it happens, but it happens for a reason. God is always in control. At some point, I will probably get cancer and die. It will be sad to leave family and friends then, but I will see them again in heaven and I will get to go to a great place to live with God
