Suiciding or intentionally vegging for any game related reason.

Antagonizing other players, disrupting gameplay through actions or communications, or otherwise playing to get negative reactions from other players. Hipfiring can also fall under GT/Trolling depending on intent/scenario and is moderated on a case to case basis with discretion. Low contrast colours that are difficult to read also falls under trolling at the discretion of a moderator (This includes unranked and sandbox games.)

Intentionally playing against your win condition or not playing to win. Includes fake claims made for any other purpose than strategy as well as voting someone based on a grudge. Forcing a draw (meteor) when you are not faced with an autolose situation falls under this category as well, since lynching/killing would give you a chance to win. Not participating sufficiently over the course of a game and/or an undefined period of time when addressed by another player or by a threat of votes or pinging. Sufficient participation does not include: Using gimmicks to speak - talking about non-game related things - Pretending to be AFK - vote flashing/using votes to communicate (excludes silencer setups and co.) Violation may also be applied if a user causes a loss due to a lack of game-related effort. This rule is only lightly moderated in red heart games.

Given at mod/admin discretion, this violation requires evidence to be submitted establishing just reason and demonstrating that said user has been joining lobbies to antagonise another user. This should be reserved for extreme cases and not just to keep people you don't like out of game. For transparency, I'll include how I asked moderators to handle this. The question that needs to be asked is: Is this severe enough that the harassment violation is not enough to solve the issue? Do we need to stop them from playing gold hearts together? If there is a need to restrict two users from playing with each other, a note lasting 3 months will be applied stating that, after which we will review the situation and either extend or remove the restriction.

Repeated suiciding in multiple games. A suicide rate exceeding 15% is grounds for this violation. Provide a reference game when reporting for this.

Using outside methods to communicate with another player in the same game, using multiple accounts in the same game, taking screenshots of your game and showing them to other players to prove your alignment, or repeatedly playing with the intent for another person to win regardless of your own win condition. Abuse of meta over several games can also fall under cheating or sometimes OGI depending on a number of factors Cheating over multiple games in gold hearts incurs an instant 3 month lobby ban and ineligibility to trophy for 8 months and a cheating 1st violation. Cheating over multiple games in red hearts incurs a 2 week or 3 month lobby ban based on moderator discretion and a cheating 1st violation.

Repeatedly sending the same message and/or chat flooding. Includes vote spamming. In extreme cases, if someone has received ample warning, and gameplay is disrupted across several games, a violation may be given in unranked Main Lobby

Using any tool to copy & paste an in-game system message or night action/meeting to attempt to prove alignment. Faking, typing out or asking another user for any of the aforementioned articles may also result in a violation. Whispers, including messages from specific roles and timestamps of whispers are not included in this rule.

Encouraging other people to suicide, spam, cheat or otherwise break a rule. Its only handed out in very severe cases. ERB expires when the rule encouraged to break would have expired. We also use this violation to cover the excessive creation of pointfarm setups in main lobby since you are encouraging others to break the rules.

Any disruptive actions in the lobby or lobby chat can be seen as lobby trolling, including leaving and rejoining games repeatedly. This rule also applies to unranked games.

Using tools or processes outside of a game in a game including, but not limited to: posting on profiles, lobbies, or the forums revealing game-related information, clearly stated meta posted on profile, whether followed or not, reporting a player in a game in progress, using third party functions or sites to make in-game decisions, bribes or threats (such as karma, kudos, breaking a rule and reporting), and pregame pact. Pretending to cheat as a reaction test also falls under OGI.

Use of slurs that are based on race and/or ethnicity. We will show absolutely no tolerance towards racist and xenophobic ideals. Racial Slurs violations contribute to the total of HC violations for suspension/ban purposes, meaning that 3 HC vios and 1 RS vio would be a site ban.

Making repeated/severe personal attacks toward or slandering another Epicmafia user when the user has asked the harasser to stop. If filing on behalf of another user, one must show the consent of the harassed person.

Any form of severe or excessive hate speech or hateful language based on race, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, mental capabilities, and other personal circumstances. Hateful but non-racial slurs fall under this rule and are moderated with a zero tolerance policy regardless of context. Racial Slurs and Hateful Comments vios are combined for suspension/ban purposes.

Using an alt or creating a new account to bypass a suspension of any kind results in infringement 1a. Helping someone bypass by posting for them on the forums with the intent to evade a suspension will result in infringement 1a for the banned user and infringement 1b for the user who posts

Abusing code exploits including, but not limited to, using scripts or posting hidden links anywhere on the site. Site ban will be given immediately for serious offenses.

Posting content anywhere on the site that, based on moderator discretion, could be considered overtly vulgar or indecent in nature. This includes, but is not limited to: any content that promotes indecent or severely offensive/inappropriate discussions or viewpoints, or images/links to content that falls under those guidelines. Inappropriate content that is found on the site will be deleted with or without prior notice.

Bio has pornographic content or is highly offensive. We will remove these whenever seen. Covers backgrounds. Using code to change other users status, love status or other personal settings will also be considered inappropriate.

When a player pretends to be another player, excluding disguising. The player being impersonated must file against their impersonator.

Avatar has pornographic content or is highly offensive. We will clear these whenever seen.

Name has pornographic content or is highly offensive. Users found to have inappropriate names will be banned and they will be requested to change their name. Once the name has been changed to something appropriate, they can message a moderator to be unbanned and have the violation reduced to Inappropriate Content. The Inappropriate Content violation will expire 2 months after the name is changed.

Posting links, images, or descriptions that moderators consider to be x-rated, including links and descriptions on the forums. If in game, in comments, or on the lobby walls, change to 24 hour game suspension and then total ban

Outing personal or privileged information without permission. Multiple pieces or depending on the severity of the of information revealed may lead to multiple violations.

Self explanatory. You have a grace period of a week in which to change your password if your friend is banned and they had access. This includes allowing use of your account to bypass suspensions. Also includes giving your password to a friend and them giving it to a banned user. Your account is your responsibility.

Spamming on the lobby wall, a report wall, on a players wall, or through private messages.

Creating duplicate threads, posting multiple threads in the wrong forum, post flooding, off-topic posts, and excessively bumping old threads. Minor offences can combine and lead to a violation.

Wasting our time by spamming the report section, abusing the report function, linking photoshopped/altered images in a report in order to fraudulently get a user punished, or continuously posting useless reports. Includes commenting in reports after being asked to stop by a moderator.

Used to signify lobby bans from Main Lobby. Thus, there are no infringements. Most likely issued upon reaching the limit of certain violations.

Accumulating 8 active violations across all accounts results in a ban. Lobby bans lasts for 3 months.

This isn't a violation per se. It's here so that we can draw attention to reports against users in future. This has no infractions and doesn't count towards the 8 violation limit.
