Well first of all it is literature,

second of all I read the complete works of Kurt Vonnegut, Bukowski, and Joseph Heller before I graduated high school

And third of all, the last thing you want after you've been cheated on is to immerse yourself in the nihilistic philosophies I used to enjoy, when I could still enjoy them.

No it definitely is, I bought the cursed child to try to help me get over being cheated on before I realized I've lost all of the passion I had for reading growing up and I can't be sober long enough to enjoy literature like I used to.

I used to read multiple books a week and I don't think I've actually read for pleasure in well over a year nor do I think I can still derive enjoyment from reading.

That feels pretty sh.itty
