the ultimate edition of batman vs superman kicks as.s; i give it an 8.5. i gave the original a 6 or 6.5 i dont remember (out of ten). why they didn't use the ultimate edition as the original theatrical release baffles me
rotten tomatoes calculates their scores in a laughable fashion--it just averages certified fresh vs rotten scores and doesn't take the actual grade that was given into consideration
rotten tomatoes is just a review aggregator, it shouldn't be taken seriously. chances are if 50% of critics or viewers didn't like a movie it isn't that good though
rotten tomatoes is the worst movie rating site i've seen people unironically use, and it pisses me off a lot how my friends religiously worship it. they'll be hyped for a movie, see the 50% rating it got on rotten tomatoes and essentially say: apparently it's bad. i'm not going to watch the movie and find out for myself what i actually think about the movie, even though i was hyped for it for a long time, because it got a bad rating on rotten tomatoes.
